On my way back to Berlin from Paris by train, I found the time to play a little around with Motel's name...

CECS X MOTEL EXCHANGE

a few weeks ago i decided to paint one of the many very cool sketches cecs had done for me. i wasn't very happy with my painting abilities the day i painted this, so i have been hesitant to upload it, but here it is! this is painted in an abandoned mental asylum somewhere in norway....next time i am wearing a gas mask for sure!

please take time to notice my delicate colouring in skills and severe lack of colour definition :)

i finally got to paint to paint this. i have never painted someone else's sketch before, and i have to say, it was heaps of fun!!! i tried to keep it as close to the original, but of course it always somehow changes once on a wall. also, i think i am usually quite rigid with my lines, so it was difficult for me to try let loose, but this was a really great exercise in doing this...thanks rime! :D
